As players transition to the U11-U12 age group, our program focuses on preparing them for the 9v9 format while continuing to build on their technical and tactical foundations. Training sessions emphasize advanced ball control, passing accuracy, finishing techniques, and decision-making under pressure.
In addition to refining individual skills, players are introduced to team tactics, positional roles, and spatial awareness within the larger 9v9 format. This stage bridges the gap between foundational learning and the competitive demands of soccer, fostering confidence, game intelligence, and a deeper appreciation for the sport.
Summer
Training begins in August with a Team Camp, where the team trains from Monday-Thursday in the evening for two weeks.
Fall
Training continues after Team Camp twice per week until Christmas break. League play occurs through EDP or the Lehigh Valley Youth Soccer League and teams will compete in two tournaments.
Winter
Training begins again after New Years and continues twice per week until the end of February. League play occurs in the Riverfront Sports Winter Indoor League.
Spring
Training continues in March until the end of May. Like Fall, league play occurs in EDP or the Lehigh Valley Youth Soccer League. If the league season continues into June, the team will continue to train until the end of the season. Beginning at U12, first teams will compete in the EPYSA State Cup and one tournament. All other teams will compete in two tournaments.
