Anthracite FC teams compete in the United States Youth Soccer (USYS) pyramid and offer high-level training and competition for
committed soccer players in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
As a member of Anthracite FC, here is what you can expect:
- One full year membership/commitment with Anthracite FC starting in June of 2025 and ending in May or early June of 2026
- Detailed training curriculum designed for each age group/level
- Professional, paid coaches trained to inspire, motivate, and connect with kids
- First-class facilities, which reduce weather-related cancellations
- U7-U8: Training twice per week in the fall, winter, and spring; plus fall and spring leagues (Local, Lehigh Valley Soccer League); winter indoor league
- U9-U10: Training twice per week in the fall, winter, and spring; plus fall and spring leagues (Local, Lehigh Valley Soccer League); winter indoor league; two tournaments
- U11-U12: Training twice per week in the fall, winter, and spring; plus fall and spring leagues (EDP, Lehigh Valley Soccer League); winter indoor league; 3-4 tournaments
- U13-U14: Training twice per week in fall, winter, and spring; fall and spring leagues (USYS National League, EDP, Lehigh Valley Soccer League); winter indoor league; 4-5 tournaments
- U15+: Training once per week in early fall, twice per week in late fall, winter and spring; spring league play (USYS National League, EDP, Lehigh Valley Soccer League); winter indoor league; 6-7 tournaments
- State Cup competition (1st teams only)
- Goalkeeper-specific training in addition to team training
- Customized Player Development Plans (PDPs)
- Team film analysis (U11 and up)
